ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENING SOON!
Please join us on Saturday August 22, 2026 at Niagara Falls International Airport for the Run the Runway 5K! The event is being sponsored by Greenlight Networks and will offer participants the unique opportunity to run on an active runway that will be lit up as the sun sets over Niagara. Register early as the first 250 registered participants will receive a beautiful keepsake finisher medal we are having specially made just for this event. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Niagara Boys & Girls Club.
START/FINISH
5K START TIME: 7:00PM The race will start and finish on the tarmac adjacent to the terminal. Participants will be guided onto the runway course by airport officials and the entire race will take place on the airport runway!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup and race day registration will take place inside the airport terminal from 6:00pm right up until the start of the race at 7:00pm. All participants must clear TSA checkpoint and show appropriate identification before entering the runway area. No backpacks allowed past the TSA checkpoiunt for security reasons.
EARLY PACKET PICKUP OPTION
We are planning to offer an early packet pickup option on Friday night. Additional information to follow on the time and location!
5K Race Registration: $35.00 / $40 on race day
*All participants who register before 8/7/26 at 9am will be guaranteed to receive an official event shirt in their requested size! A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.
POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for light food/snacks (TBA) and the awards ceremony!
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking available at the airport!
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. A/G awards decals will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners in each of the following categories that can be affixed to the back of your custom finisher medal.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
